I've been a product manager and leader since 2008 and in those 15 years, I find myself either thinking or saying many of the same things over and over again. I started writing down my list of product management maxims and created a fairly sizable list. I'd wanted to do something with these list because I like sharing what I've learned.
A friend recently mentioned a "law" from the 48 Laws of Power and that gave me the idea for 50 Maxims of Product Management based on the list I'd been be building for a while. While the name was inspiration, this won't be a Machiavellian approach like the 48 Laws. If using 48 Law of Powers works well in your organization, I'd question whether you really want to be there as I see it as a terrible approach for building great products.
My goal is 50 posts and let's see how far I get.
